LumiNina Beauty

Hey there, bestie! My name is Nina! Welcome to my brand, LumiNina Beauty, your one stop shop for all things beauty. I take an immense amount of pride in my work, and am dedicated to providing you with the most detailed, precise, clean service in the most relaxing and fun atmosphere. Let me tell you a little bit about myself! Ive been a full specialist for 4 years now, meaning I dabble in just about everything! I specialize in structured gel manicures (commonly known as hard or soft gel), detailed cuticle work, acrylic, nail art, pedicures, lashes, and waxing. Prior to this, I worked for five years for some big name companies like Lancome and Clinique, where I became a professional in skincare and makeup. I wanted to take what I learned and expand my creativity to the world of nails. I definitely picked up a few more skills in the process, fell in love, and havent looked back. Attention to detail is the most important factor in any service; mine is second to none. I care about the quality and health of your natural nails, so therefore, I use clean, high end products. Most of which are vegan so that I can provide you with the safest quality for your nails to grow and prosper. I always tell my clients, “ I would never put something on you that I wouldn’t put on myself”. Starting my own salon has allowed me to implement the change I’ve always wanted to see in this industry. When we meet, I’ll be your mom, your therapist, your spiritual guru, your personal comedian, whatever you want me to be. Sometimes all it takes is a good set of nails or lashes to really turn your day around. My goal is to make you feel more beautiful each and every day. So come on this journey with me and turn your dreams into a reality! LumiNina Beauty- Clean. Effortless. Precise. Booking Policy: ♦️No children or pets. ♦️A credit card on file is required to hold your appointment. You MUST notify me within 24 hours if you wish to cancel or reschedule. Your card will not be charged unless you no show and/or cancel within that time. (See cancellation policy) ♦️Please make sure you are coming on time. There is a 15 minute grace period for those running late. Anytime after 15 min, you will need to reschedule and will be considered a no show. No exceptions. ♦️Please make sure you are booking your services correctly. For example, if you have 3 nail repairs, you need to make sure you book “Nail Repair” three times so it’s scheduled for the appropriate time. If you want nail art done, please send me an inspo photo of what you wanted done. If you want gel polish or a French with an upgraded pedicure, make sure you book those add ons. If they aren’t booked correctly, I might have a client after you and might not have time to do anything additional you may have wanted. ♦️Communicate with me! I am more than happy to correspond with you to go over nail designs, pricing, etc. or if you are unsure of how to book something. ♦️I do not work on the weekends. However, reach out and I might be able to come in for you! A 20% service fee will apply towards all services done.

Cancellation Policy

🔸I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you fail to cancel or reschedule within 24 hrs, you will be charged for 50% of your service. 🔸No call, no shows are charged 100% of their service price. 🔸I understand emergencies happen, so if you need to cancel due to one, all or part of the cancellation fee may be applied to your next service. Lash Policy: 🔸 Prior to your arrival, make sure you have completed all your online forms. 🔸All makeup needs to be thoroughly removed before arrival. Eyes should be free of oil and any type of mascara residue. Not taking your makeup off properly prevents the lashes from adhering properly. Failure to remove makeup in the eye area will take time away from your service, and you will be charged a $10 fee. 🔸 Please see Lash Refill Policy below for details on what qualifies as a refill. Lash Refill Policy: 🔸Lashes MUST be refilled within 21 days of your last visit to be considered a fill. Anything past that day will automatically be charged as a full set. No exceptions. 🔸Lashes MUST have 35-50% of lashes still intact, including grown out ones, in order to be considered a fill. Anything less will automatically be considered a new set. No exceptions. 🔸NO FOREIGN FILLS. I do not work over other artists work as every tech is different and uses different products, so the result might not look the same. You will need to book a removal separately. Disclaimers: 🔸 Waxing Disclaimer: No retinol use for 7 days prior to your wax appointment. Anyone taking Accutane currently or within 6 months, will not be serviced on. Both of these make the skin very thin and sensitive, and waxing while on them may tear the skin and even cause a burn that could lead to scarring. When it comes to exfoliation, I recommend a gentle exfoliation 24-48 hours prior. 🔸 Lash Disclaimer: When getting extensions, I’ll ask that you keep your eyes closed for the entire service and it’s VERY important you do so. The fumes from the glue are not toxic (I use a vegan brand), however, they can be strong. Failure to keep them closed or to try to peek through can cause your eyes to be red when we’re done. In extreme cases, the next day, chemical pink eye may occur, which isn’t contagious and goes away on its own in a few days and a part of the eye may be sore. That’s why I always like it when my clients just take a lash nap. In addition, please make sure you are cleaning your lashes at home with a lash shampoo and soft bristled brush. Not only does it help the retention of your lashes, but improper cleaning can lead to buildup of dead skin cells and possible infection. 🔸 Nail Disclaimer I: Ingrown toenails are not fun and can be painful if not treated correctly. But don’t worry, I happen to specialize in these! I remove them in the gentlest way possible to minimize the pain you may be experiencing. In some cases, some minor bleeding may occur when pulling them out which will be disinfected accordingly. My goal is to provide a sense of relief after the ingrowns are removed. 🔸 Nail Disclaimer II: Sometimes, clients may come in with green discoloration under their nails from a previous salon. In extreme cases, this green discoloration can turn into fungus. This can happen if your previous tech was using unsanitary tools or it could be due to some kind of lifting that has occurred and water seeped in, breeding bacteria or from repeatedly gluing a broken/lifted nail back down. While easy to treat, I do NOT do any extensions/overlays/tips on any nails with anything green on them. The nail will get a quick manicure and will be left alone to air out and will not get any product put on it until it's treated and fully healed.
